I'm a sucker for anything with cheese, what more melted cheese!? So when I found out about this place just very near my workplace, I immediately brought the baby-ik with me, and off we went to try it out.
Just along A.S. Fortuna Road in Banilad is where you'll find the just-recently-launched food place called Fat Dois. They have just recently opened about a month back.

The ambience suits my liking very much. I like that it's kinda rustic and warm. Not the usual brightly lit food places we're used to going. I believe it was meant that way to go along with their Korean inspired Cheese Buldak or Fire Chicken, which is one of their main specialties!
Just a heads up though: The food place doesn't have much space. It can only cater about 15-20 people at a time, so I suggest you go there earlier than their opening time, or better yet call them ahead of time for a reservation to avoid the long waiting list. Yes, there's a waiting list! It's that delicious, people actually wait in the line for several minutes just to have a taste of their food. Good thing we avoided the long line since we arrived a few minutes after they opened.
Spicy Noodles with Spam and Cheese - 180 Php
They don't have that much on their menu just yet. They offer just 3 main dishes and a few other side dishes. We opted for their Spicy Noodles with SPAM and CHEESE! Emhpasis on Spam and Cheese because Spam is life and cheese is lifer! Haha!
It had a tinge of spiciness, and you all know me, I'm not a fan of anything spicy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and even wanted more. Interesting! My boyfriend, being the spicy lover that he is loved it though!
Cheesy Chixs - 199 Php
We also ordered their Cheeesy Chixs which comes in 3 different flavors. Depending on your preference, you may order it in the flavors Spicy, BBQ, and Garlic Soy. Of course, we ordered the BBQ flavor and added one plain rice to pair with it. It was heaven! We both loved it!
We were almost in a food coma right after our meal. Srsly, I can barely move! For just about 400 Php we were that full. Incredibly affordable! Not even exaggerating! They have pretty big servings which can be shared by 2-3 people. And there were just 2 of us! Haha!
Nonetheless, we enjoyed it and will surely come back to try more of their dishes.
